About this Painting
Joie de Vivre is an abstract watercolor and acrylic painting in white, indigo blue, salmon pink, yellow and varying greens. Ribbons of indigo watercolor are weaving through one another, created intuitively as one of my gestural Plant Cell paintings. Elements of color blocking are introduced throughout as layered brushstrokes of vibrant acrylic color bring this piece alive. This piece is at once meditative and joyful, hence the name, “the joy of living”. Finding peace and through self-acceptance and transformation, restoring joy in one’s life.
