About this Painting
This is an abstract expressionist painting featuring sketchy line work and tumbling, painterly shapes. The title, “Under One Roof”, is a reference to the time in which is was created….Fall of 2020. Creating from home, while everyone in my family was home, working, schooling…all under one roof. A chaotic at times, beautiful at times, tribute to the way families have had to navigate living through a global pandemic, being around one another 24/7, all under one roof.
